Latest RIBA CPD Showcase generates 310+ enquiries
RIBA CPD Showcase, the monthly email newsletter that promotes the wide range of continuing professional development material, available via members of the RIBA CPD Providers Network, is proving a big hit among architects and other specifiers.
Each issue of the RIBA CPD Showcase is emailed to over 15,000 RIBA-chartered architects, and features details of up to 24 RIBA-approved CPDs, with links to more information, the provider’s website (and ideally, CPD page), and a booking form or download button. Online presentations may be accessed via a direct link.

Response figures demonstrate that it is fulfilling a real need. Every provider featured in the most recent issue received at least one enquiry. Some received in excess of two dozen. Total response generated by the entire issues was 312 enquiries – a new record.
Inclusion in the newsletter is free, and comes as part of members’ subscription to the RIBA CPD Providers Network.
There is a real appetite among architects for information about new products and services. It helps keep them at the cutting edge and maintain their chartered status by fulfilling at least 35 hours and 100 points worth of CPD each year. RIBA CPD Showcase lands in their inbox once a month and, with just a few clicks of the mouse, guides them straight to material that has been carefully assessed and approved by the RIBA. The content appeals to a wide range of construction professionals.
Two dozen different providers are invited to submit material for inclusion in each issue. This will continue until every provider has had a chance to respond. Surprisingly though, each month a handful of providers ignore all requests for up-to-date information, failing perhaps to recognise the cost of generating over two dozen CPD enquiries by other – paid for means.
The RIBA CPD Showcase has the additional benefit of acting as a reminder to providers to update their own CPD contact details already published elsewhere (as invitations are emailed to the CPD contact supplied) – so ignoring it represents two opportunities wasted.
The RIBA CPD Providers Network goes to great lengths to market members’ CPD materials – using a variety of media. Keep an eye out for your email from RIBA CPD Showcase.
