President’s fundraiser helps young architects

A fundraising event, hosted by the president of the RIBA in aid of the RIBA Education Fund, promises to be this summer’s hottest ticket in town. Thursday 28 June 2012 is the date to put in your diary, and Portland Place in London the venue.

RIBA President Angela Brady invites you to join her and her guest of honour, award-winning architect Sarah Wigglesworth MBE, for an evening of fun and fundraising. A drinks reception and sushi bar will be followed by dinner and live music. Highlight of the evening will be a fundraising auction, in which a number of great items will be up for grabs.

The RIBA Education Fund provides vital grants to students of architecture struggling to complete their studies due to financial hardship. Thanks to the money raised from last year’s inaugural event the RIBA has been able to double the funds available to students this year. Your support now can provide a positive boost to the support offered to students from September.
