Last chance to be included in RIBA Product Selector
The 2011 issue of RIBA Product Selector is set to close for new entries by mid-August, so here's a brief summary of how those who are in it stand to gain, and what those who are not are about to lose.

When it's used
A survey of 2010 RIBA Product Selector subscribers showed that nearly two in five (38 per cent) used it at least once a month, and that a further third (33 per cent) referred to it once a week. 84 per cent stated that they'd specified a product in the previous twelve months having first identified it in RIBA Product Selector, while 89 per cent – nine out of ten – said that they'd used the directory while working on a live project.
Why it's used
When asked, 90 per cent of 2010 RIBA Product Selector users said they referred to the illustrated technical pages.
How it's used
Designed around how specifiers work in the real world, RIBA Product Selector summarises key information such as contact details, website addresses and top line product data which might otherwise take ages to find by trawling the web. It doesn't replace web search – it complements it.
RIBA Product Selector naturally also ties it in seamlessly with technical information available on ribaproductselector.com.
Where it's used
RIBA Product Selector is requested and used by 100 per cent of the AJ Top 100 UK architectural practices. Not "most of...", or "99 per cent of...", all one hundred (and quite a few more besides).
